My research interests include:

• Wave propagation physics, ultrasound imaging, modeling and simulation of wave propagation in biological tissues
• Ultrasonic characterization of biological materials
• Neuromuscular function and muscle biomechanics
• Mechanical properties of musculoskeletal tissues (muscle, bone, teeth), including the relationships between mechanical properties and the composition and microanatomy of tissues.
