MU: Clément Linger awarded 3 thesis awards

Clément Linger’s doctoral work, supported by the CNRS 80|Prime program for multi-team, inter-institutional interdisciplinary projects and titled “Quantitative Photoacoustic Characterization of Theranostic Nanoparticles: Towards 3D Imaging of Their Accumulation in Rheumatoid Arthritis” was conducted jointly at the Laboratoire d’Imagerie Biomédicale, LIB, under the supervision of Jérôme Gateau and Lori Bridal and the Institut Galien Paris-Saclay with the supervision of Nicolas Tsapis.

His research, defended in 2024, has been recognized with three thesis awards in recent months:

• The 2024 Innovation Prize from the SFGBM (French Society of Biological and Medical Engineering),
• The 2025 Best Thesis in Nanomedicine Award from the French Society for Nanomedicine,
• The 2025 Thesis Prize in Pharmacotechnology, Biomaterials, and Drug Delivery from the French National Academy of Pharmacy (Académie nationale de Pharmacie).
